How do trades work in Yahoo Fantasy basketball? ›

Click My Team from your league's homepage. Click the "...has proposed a trade to you" message. Click Evaluate Trade to determine the fairness of the trade. Click OK to accept the trade, Reject Trade to decline, or Make Counter Offer to change the players in the trade.

From Yahoo Fantasy, mouse over Fantasy | select a sport. On your team page, click Details next to the trade notification. Click Allow Trade or Veto Trade.

Add, drop, or trade players by: Weekly roster changes - 11:59PM PT the night before the selected "Weekly Roster" day. Daily - Today roster changes - No deadline; rosters update immediately after a transaction. Daily - Tomorrow roster changes - 11:59 PM PT the night before; rosters are updated the following day.

Veto a trade in a Public or Private League

Public and Private Leagues require one-third of managers to vote against a trade for it to be vetoed.

Public leagues and/or Private league with standard settings:

If enough votes are cast against the trade (4 out of 10, 50% of teams NOT involved in the trade), then it will be immediately canceled. Teams with more than one team manager will only receive one vote.

Rejected trades display in the transactions section of the league but voided trades will not be visible anywhere. Trades that become void will seemingly disappear without a trace.

A trade offer involves proposing to swap one or more players in your squad with the same number of players from another squad in your league. Trades can involve multiple positions but must be like for like.

How long do trades take to settle in fantasy? ›

Within 12 hours following the 36 hr period, the final decision registered by the ESPN experts will cause the deal to either process or be vetoed. Whether a deal is protested or not, the total process time is the same and takes 48 hours.

No limit to the number of trades a team can make. Limited - A specific number of transactions is selected (i.e. 5, 10, 15, 20). Once that number of accepted & processed trades has been reached, the team manager will not be allowed to propose or accept any more trades.

The Trade Market is a research tool that shows trade trends in other leagues so you can make the smartest moves. The Trading Block shows players that are available for trade offers within your league, edit your own Trading Block to post players you're willing to part with.

If you have a player in your lineup that has been traded to a new team that is not included in that contest, you will receive zero points for that player. However, you can always edit your lineup before the official start of the contest and replace traded players.

Draft Pick Trading enables Team Managers to trade draft slots, - for example, a team manager might trade their 2^nd and 3^rd round pick slots to another team manager for their 1^st round pick slot in return. Trades can be performed on the ESPN Fantasy App and on the web.
