The Interchange Map on Escape From Tarkovprovides a lot of opportunities for players to make money fast. The map can be fruitful for looters and for offensive minded players. To succeed on Interchange, people will need a calculated approach.

The spawn points on the map and the amount of loot available encourages everyone to rush into the large mall at the center. It is one of the few maps on Tarkov that have a nice balance between PVP and valuable loot. This list will cover tips for the PVP aspects of the game, as well as what loot is available in the various areas of the map.
On the interchange map, there are two main POI's outside of the mall that are dangerous. The first is the corner of the map with the Emercom Extract, and the second is on the opposite side of the map near the Railway Extract. An extraction is a way for Tarkov players to keep their loot following a raid. Near Emercom, there are always players hiding behind bushes, trees, and cars right outside of the extraction. Gamers that spawn at Emercom will have at least two or three players on either side of the road that leads to OLI. The safest way to enter the main building is to head up the ramp and into the back entrance of OLI.
9 Hot Zones
Every map in Tarkov has congested areas and choke points. Apart from the Emercom location, the main entrances to each of the stores are hot zones. The stairs leading to Idea for example will usually have a few players and Scavs camping them. When entering from the front of a store, there will usually be an enemy moving in from the back.

Any of the sight lines along the streets are dangerous areas as well, because there are a number of angles enemies can peek from. One final example is the lobby between Idea and tRend next to the escalator. This is probably the worst place to be because all of the walkways in the mall converge at that one location. The less sight lines the better in Tarkov.
8 Early Raid Tactics
All of the spawn points are outside of the huge mall area at the center of the map. Gamers need to have one of two approaches in the early game. The first is taking an Emercom like strategy by rushing into the stores immediately. This can be risky depending on the spawn. No matter where players spawn on the map, there will be an enemy on either side of the area. The map is essentially a large oval of spawns, with each surrounding the stores in the center. The second approach is to find a good location and scan for nearby players. This is a feasible option if the entrances to the stores are slightly farther away from the spawn.
7 Dark Is Good
It may seem like an obvious tip, but dark areas of the mall are the only areas that should be occupied for a long period of time, especially in the mall. The "Starbucks" on top Ultra is a perfect example of a safe dark area that is a strategic place to hide and drop loot items. Any illuminated areas should be avoided later in the game if possible. Gamers will be able to quickly identify the locations of enemies in lighted areas, particularly if they are in a common sight line.
6 Peeking Down
Looking down from the escalators on the second floor glass rings are incredible ways to pick off unaware opponents. However, the angles can be disadvantageous as well. If the screen reveals a character model's feet, that player will only see the head of the person looking down.

As an early offensive strategy, peeking down to the main floor of the mall can be effective. Still, gamers need to be careful and aware that they may be exposing their head to survivors below.
5 Memorize Audio Cues
This tip will require both experience and awareness. Many of the floors in the second floor stores have different footstep audio. For example, there is only one shop that has wood flooring on that level. Understanding what the footsteps in each area of the mall sound like will give people an immense advantage. Hearing the wood sound from the second floor will tip players to the exact location of opponents during raids.
4 Looting OLI
OLI is a great location to find bartering items, as there are dozens of useful items and materials that line the shelves in the warehouse. Spark plugs spawn commonly on the shelves at the end of each isle, and car batteries will spawn on the bottom of the same shelves. On the back wall of the store there are car batteries and lightbulbs as well. In the front left corner of the store, gamers can loot computers and other items in the offices. OLI has almost every item players will need for bartering purposes. Additionally, cash registers at the front of the store will contain cash.
3 Idea Escalator
The escalator near Idea is extremely loud. Later in the game, sprinting up it is likely a death sentence. Anyone patrolling the second floor will not hear the sound until a character is about halfway up it, so gamers can feel free to sprint until then. The audio from the escalator travels almost halfway down the hallway to the left, which is probably as far as any footstep sound will travel in Tarkov.
2 Goshan Starting Point
In this area, there is a ton of ammo and weapon boxes in and around the cargo containers. Players that are looking for new weapon parts or weapons in general should check out the area while on the map. The shelves inside of Goshan spawn car batteries and spark plugs in the same locations as in OLI. There are more than 30 cash registers in the store as well.
1 Turning The Power On
There is a lot ofuseful loot in the Power Station area. However, a PMC will spawn in the Power Station every raid. People that spawn back on the Idea ramp will need to keep that in mind if they push Power Station. Idea is another good place to loot, and there are several statues there for collectors.
The back offices in Power Station are theprimaryplaces to find quality loot in the station. Attached to the office is the warehouse section of the station, which contains the power switch. It is all the way at the other end of the building from the office door. Outside of the Power Station there are several other small buildings that have weapon boxes and ammo, as well as other barter items.
